WEDDING ON GREEN ISLAND GREAT BARRIER REEF

Yesterday I travelled by boat to Green Island to marry a couple from Western Australia who had eloped.  Their wedding was on the beach at sunset on a beautiful evening, with turtles swimming past and even a stingray. What a perfect start to married life… I had a glass of Veuve with my feet in the sand and watched a spectacular sunset – it is so hard to do my job sometimes… I stayed overnight in a lovely room and caught the boat back to Cairns this morning.  Cant wait to go back again…

Yesterday afternoon I drove up to Port Douglas to marry a couple from Toowoomba on the beach at the Sea Temple Resort and Spa.  It was a beautiful afternoon and we all had a great time.  There were 20 family and friends present to see them exchange vows and they looked so happy.

MARRIAGE CELEBRANT AT PALM COVE

On Saturday afternoon I was in the Angsana Barrier Reef Chapel for the wedding of a couple from NSW.  We had fun and there was a definite “Mr Bean” moment in their wedding vows which made us all laugh a lot… A little windy on the beach but it didnt detract from a lovely day and a lovely couple.

WEDDING AT PALM COVE

On 17th October I married a young couple from NSW in the Angsana Barrier Reef Chapel at Palm Cove.  Their family watched them exchange vows and two guests read a poem each.  Their young daughter watched with her grandmother.
