MARRIED ON THE BEACH AT PALM COVE

On Sunday afternoon I was the Celebrant at the marriage of a couple from NSW on the beach at the northern end of Palm Cove.  Again a lovely sunny day with little wind.  A great little flower girl who insisted on walking up and down the carpet many times.  The  bride spoke some secret words to her groom and it was a really nice day.

WEDDING SEA TEMPLE GOLF CLUB PORT DOUGLAS

On Saturday afternoon I travelled to Port Douglas to marry a young couple from Frankston Victoria in front of around 50 family and friends at the Sea Temple Golf Club.  It was a beautiful day and with the backdrop of the green fairways and the hills it made for some great photos.

CHAPEL WEDDING AT PALM COVE

Yesterday afternoon I married a couple from Brisbane who had relocated from the U.K. a few years ago.  It was such a lovely wedding with around 20 family there to watch them exchange their vows.  The bride’s three sons all read a poem and we all had some laughs…

BEACH WEDDING AT PALM COVE

Yesterday I married a couple from Tasmania on the beach opposite Vivo Restaurant.  They had two witnesses to their marriage and although it was a little windy they were so happy they didn’t even notice.

ANGSANA BARRIER REEF CHAPEL WEDDING

Later in the afternoon on 18th August I acted as Celebrant in the beautiful Angsana Barrier Reef Chapel at Palm Cove when a lovely couple from Western Australia were married.  They had four bridesmaids and four groomsmen and around 50 guests from interstate, and the groom’s sister read some lovely words she had written herself.  The couple’s vows were fantastic – written themselves – and reflecting the relationship they obviously have.  The ceremony was beautiful, light hearted and happy.  What more can you ask for.
